Whats new for 2024?

We've just completed the first couple of weeks of 2024 and I hit the New Year running, quite literally! In January I had a couple of interesting jobs, including the remaining commentary gigs for the National Trophy Series and the National CX Championships. I'm hanging the mic up now until the start of April when the XC seasons gets under way in Cannock.

Mind you if you have a commentary job you think my skills might be a perfect fit then please feel free to give me a shout.

Meanwhile all sights are now set on the delivery of a number of camera phone workshops. These are squarely aimed at beginners, introducing them to the idea that with a bit of thought and creativity you can transform your images, not drowning them in a sea of filters.

Grapevine Wellness Centre - Buxton is the first venue then I head to the Dark Peak Photo Festival in Glossop, running across various venues in Glossop from 22nd February through to Sunday 25th February.

Unfortunately these are now sold out but I'm also holding a talk about my work on the 25th Feb - link to tickets here: - come and find out about the story behind the images.

There will be a free exhibition of a selection of my images at the Locker Room - Glossop Gasworks between 22nd-25th Feb - Images will be available to purchase as a ltd edition run. Check out the webshop for options if you fancy owning an original piece of photographic art.

A first for me this month was a request for 'baby bump' images for a local couple. This involved a visit to the clients house for a fun filled couple of hours producing a number of beautiful shots before baby arrived. Baby is now here by the way.

As a freelance photographer I'm ready to photograph at a moments notice. Maybe you have an idea that I can help you create, just get in touch.
