These last few months have been a very trying time for many of us. I have used this time creatively, exploring my garden with a macro lens.

I've become very fond of the insect life that visits, especially the bees. Who knew these busy little creatures could be so fascinating and I've enjoyed the challenge of capturing them at work.

My aim now is to search out other locations that bees can be found to try and find a few more of the 24 species that you can currently find in the UK.
