R1 - Brandon Park


600 hundred expectant riders held their breaths and crossed their fingers hoping against hope that the first round of the eagerly anticipated Whyte Winter series run by Thetford MTB would be a dry one. After a season of XC & enduro racing where seemingly every race has offered mud, a bit more mud and just for a change mud….

So with one eye on the weather and another on the competition, hundreds of riders made their way to Brandon Park and were duly rewarded. Firstly with a cracking 7.5 mile course that weaved it’s sinuous way through wooded singletrack, leaving no room for any respite and secondly but oh so important, a gloriously clear blue sky….
