Sun, rain, mud, a gorilla, a banana, bikes, disco, water, ferns, just a few random things that went into making Mountain Mayhem an event to remember.

Congratulations to all those that stuck it out and slipped and slided your way to the finish. It was certainly entertaining for the crowds.

Mayhem just encapsulates all that is good about mountain biking in this country, it’s not just about riding your bike, it about meeting new and old friends and encouraging each other throughout the thick and thin of the mud and water to finish one of the toughest races we have . Good to see so many people finishing with huge grins peaking out from behind all that mud.

Congrats also to Ant White who at last got the win in the men’s solo he well deserved with a cracking 24 laps and well done too, to Mrs.P, Jenn H, Fi, Lorraine and Tracey...you’re all mad!!!
