Brought to you by the letter M...
It unfortunately (thanks to the good old British weather) turned into a mud and marmite course, which you either loved or hated. It was as promised the toughest enduro course in he UK, with plenty to keep the mind active, legs burning and skills pushing. A cracking 12 hours of warmth and blue skies, helped dried out some of the stickiest moments, but at 2.00 am the weather returned leaving the brave 24hrers to battle it out on a course which some called the love child between the Somme and Ypres (still we didn’t have it quite as bad as the DHers in Wales...). Smashing sunset, which I must have been the only person to miss and some very weird wavy clouds the next day just added to the experience.
But as per usual it all ended with huge smiles underneath all that grit. Well done to all the usual suspects, big respect for what you do. Also big thanks to Martyn & crew who worked tirelessly to bring a new flavour to the enduro scene.
See you next year, hopefully same place, same time for a bit more of the same with maybe a few tweaks....
